Our Founder
AIM Pest Control was founded by Mr. Job Barante Dayandante, a licensed pest control expert who earned his certification from the Fertilizers and Pesticide Authority (FPA) in the year 2000, holding License No. E89-65.
In 2001, he officially established AIM Pest Control and quickly became a recognized member of the Pest Exterminators Association of the Philippines (PEAP) and the Federation of Asian and Oceania Pest Managers Associations (FAOPMA).
Through his dedication and leadership in the industry, Mr. Dayandante served as a PEAP Board of Director from 2005 to 2013, before being elected President of the Association in 2013–2014. After his term, he continued his service as a PEAP Executive Officer from 2014 to 2017, representing the organization at national and international levels.

Frequently Asked Questions
What kinds of pest problems can AIM Pest Control PH handle?
We address a wide range of common pests and destructive pests, including: cockroaches, ants, termites, rodents (rats & mice), mosquitoes, spiders, bedbugs, and more. Our goal is to help you become truly pest free in your home or business.
What types of pests are there, and how do I know which one is infesting my property?
The major types of pests include insects (e.g., ants, cockroaches, termites, bedbugs), arachnids (spiders), rodents (rats, mice) and flying pests (mosquitoes). We perform an inspection to identify the species, inspect the infestation source, and categorize the threat according to whether it’s a general pest (annoying) or a destructive pest (causing structural damage, such as termites or rats chewing wiring).
What pest control methods do you use?
We employ a mix of methods including:
- Chemical pest control: Safe application of approved pesticides to treat infestations.
- Physical pest control: Measures like seals, traps, barriers or removal of pest harbourage.
- Biological pest control / Natural predators: Where appropriate, we incorporate beneficial organisms (predators or parasites) that attack pests, as part of an integrated pest management (IPM) approach.
- Long-term preventive strategies: Monitoring, maintenance plans and behaviour modifications to keep your property pest-free.
What is integrated pest management (IPM) and why is it important?
Integrated pest management is a holistic strategy that combines inspection, monitoring, and multiple control methods (chemical, physical, biological) to manage pest populations with minimal environmental impact. Instead of relying solely on chemical sprays, IPM focuses on long-term solutions such as eliminating pest entry-points, employing natural predators, using traps, and adjusting environmental conditions. This approach ensures control services are effective and sustainable.
How does chemical pest control differ from biological pest control?
Chemical pest control uses synthetic or semi-synthetic pesticides to kill or repel pests. This is effective for immediate relief, especially for urgent infestations.
Biological pest control uses living organisms, for example, parasites, predators or pathogens, to reduce pest populations. For example, releasing beneficial insects to control ants or using rodent-predator strategies. This method is environmentally friendly and often part of a preventive long-term plan.
What are physical pest control methods, and when are they used?
Physical pest control includes non-chemical approaches such as:
- Traps for rodents or insects
- Barriers or exclusion (e.g., sealing cracks, installing screens)
- Heat treatment or cold treatment (for bedbugs, termites)
- Manual / mechanical removal or vacuuming of pests.
- These measures are often combined with chemical or biological methods for comprehensive treatment.
What makes a pest destructive, and why should I be concerned?
A destructive pest is one that not only annoys, but causes structural damage, contamination or health hazards. Termites eating timber, rodents gnawing wires, cockroaches spreading bacteria, these all qualify. Ignoring destructive pests can lead to costly repairs or health issues, so early identification and treatment is important.
How long will the pest control services last and what is your long-term plan?
Our treatments include a long term perspective: we apply the initial control method, then monitor the site and make follow-up visits or maintenance recommendations as needed. We also provide guidance on prevention, behaviour change, and environmental modifications to keep your property pest free over time.
What’s the environmental impact of pest control and how do you minimise it?
We prioritise methods with low environmental impact by:
- Applying the smallest effective amount of chemicals, following safety standards.
- Using natural predators and biological control where viable.
- Choosing physical and preventive measures that avoid chemical reliance.
- Educating clients on good housekeeping, moisture control, waste management, all of which reduce pest harbourage and minimise the need for repeat treatments.
What should I expect during the inspection and treatment process?
Here’s a typical sequence:
- Inspection: We check for signs of infestation, identify pest species, entry-points, harbourage.
- Diagnosis: We discuss what pest problems exist (type of pest, severity, damage risk).
- Treatment Plan: We propose one or more control services, selecting appropriate methods (chemical, physical, biological).
- Application: We carry out the agreed method, e.g., spray, bait, trap, exclusion, introduction of natural predators or parasites.
- Follow-up: We check the effectiveness, make adjustments, and recommend preventive maintenance to keep pests away long-term.
